Energy-efficient manufacturing
Existing hydraulics often leak, rendering equipment useless. They waste energy performing even routine tasks, and often require extensive maintenance and repair.
RISETechnology is engineered to outperform hydraulic systems in speed, force, efficiency, and durability. RISECylinder consumes significantly less energy than hydraulic systems, enabling longer equipment run times. By uniquely employing rolling contact mechanics, RISETechnology is designed for the useful life of the machine, making it maintenance-free and cost-effective. Through several partnerships with commercial and defense customers, RISETechnology has demonstrated a minimum of 65% actuation energy savings when lifting loads of various weights.
RISE Technology is industry and application-agnostic, with a number of commercial customers driving ongoing revenue, including Anthony Liftgates, Schindler Elevator Co., Energy Vault, and Wiggins Lift Co. Recently, a commercial forklift manufacturer has engaged with the RISE team, seeking to integrate the RISECyliner into their machine for increased performance.
RISE has also gained significant transaction in the Department of Defense through successful engagements with several Air Force and Army stakeholders. Most recently, RISE was awarded a $1.7M Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) with Air Force Global STrike Command (AFGSC) to modernize bomb loaders.
The company’s core technology is a viable and successfully demonstrated replacement to hydraulic systems and enables battery-electric fleets with diesel-equivalent runtime, capacity, and reliability.

RISE Robotics, Inc. was founded by MIT and RISD graduates, who recruited a team with decades of industrial experience. The team is comprised of serial entrepreneurs, engineers, and seasoned product development and manufacturing experts.
